Yamaha has filed another design patent in Japan. This time for an upcoming electric scooter. Revealed on July 23, 2026, this patent application gives a first glimpse of what a production version will look like. Looks set to combine a city-scooter aesthetic with a higher specification electric package. While there is no launch date announced yet, the patent itself is all that’s needed to prove that Yamaha is committed to expanding its EV range.
