TVS Srichakra Acquire stake in Weber Drivetrain
TVS Srichakra Limited has announced that its step-down wholly owned subsidiary, TVS Sensing Solutions Private Limited, has signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire a 51% equity stake in Weber Drivetrain Private Limited. The agreement was approved by the subsidiary's board on July 19, 2026, according to the company's regulatory filing.
Acquisition Details
The transaction involves the purchase of 5,100 equity shares, representing 51% of Weber Drivetrain's paid-up equity share capital. The acquisition will be completed through a cash consideration of Rs 1.43 crore, with the process expected to conclude within six months from the execution of the agreement. No regulatory approvals are required for the transaction.

About Weber Drivetrain
Weber Drivetrain Private Limited is a Pune-based company engaged in the design, development, testing and manufacturing of electric motors and controllers for electric vehicles. The company also provides vehicle integration solutions for OEMs and was incorporated in January 2022. Its reported turnover stood at Rs 14.17 crore in FY26, compared to Rs 11.65 crore in FY25 and Rs 13.48 crore in FY24.
Purpose of the Acquisition
According to the disclosure, the acquisition is intended to support electronics capability building within TVS Srichakra's business. Weber Drivetrain operates in the auto ancillary sector and focuses on electric motors and controls for EV applications.
