Kia India unveils the first official pictures of the Kia Sorento before its India debut. This premium three-row SUV got more details after the company's announcement on August 20, 2026. The production of the India-spec Sorento has begun in its Anantapur plant located in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The Sorento will become the first hybrid SUV from Kia in India. It is expected that this SUV will increase the brand's presence in the premium three-row SUV segment. Also it will become a flagship product combining features of a larger SUV and premium interior, technology, and choice of several engine options.

First Sorento Comes Off Line in Anantapur

Manufacturing of the India-spec Kia Sorento has commenced and the first locally made example rolled out of the production line on August 20.
