ELCTRIK Speaks
September 2026’s 1.96 lakh units’ sale of electric two-wheelers in India reflects that EVs are now being adopted at a faster pace by everyone. The good performances by TVS and Bajaj indicate that traditional manufacturing companies are now dominating the market due to their wider network for services and trusted brand name. In addition, Ather and Hero Vida are making progress too, and the decreasing volumes of Ola Electric indicate how difficult the situation is for dedicated EV companies. However, what is important is to maintain this momentum during the festive season through affordability and other means.
