Electric vehicle manufacturer Zelio E-Mobility plans to establish a new manufacturing facility in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. According to the company, the plant will be used for the assembly of electric scooters, storage, logistics, and related operational activities.


The facility will cover around 39,000 sq. ft. The company said the setup process is scheduled to begin in April 2026, with commercial operations expected to start in July 2026.


Existing Manufacturing Network

Zelio E-Mobility currently operates multiple facilities in different parts of India. Its Ladwa plant in Haryana spans about 2,63,450 sq. ft., while the Patan facility in the same state covers around 2,52,301 sq. ft. The company also has a manufacturing unit in Cuttack, Odisha, with an area of approximately 30,500 sq. ft.

These plants support production, assembly, and regional operations for the company’s electric vehicle portfolio.


IPO and Financial Performance

The company raised ₹78.34 crore through its initial public offering (IPO). The issue included a fresh issue of ₹58.84 crore and an offer for sale of 11.4 lakh shares valued at ₹15.50 crore.

The IPO was subscribed about 1.5 times overall. Zelio E-Mobility’s shares were listed on the BSE at ₹154.90 on October 8, 2025, which was above the issue price.

For the first half of FY26 following the SME IPO, the company reported consolidated revenue of ₹134.78 crore and a profit after tax of ₹11.87 crore.


Product Portfolio

Zelio manufactures electric two-wheelers under the Zelio brand. The company offers several low-speed models including X Men, X Men 2.0, Gracy i, Gracy+, Gracy Pro, Little Gracy, Eeva, Eeva ZX+, Legender, and the Logix cargo scooter. It also offers a high-speed model called Mystery.

In the three-wheeler segment, the company produces e-rickshaw models under the Tanga brand. These include Tanga Butterfly and Tanga Fine, which are used for passenger and last-mile transport services.


Dealer Network

The company operates through a dealer network of more than 350 outlets across over 20 states and union territories in India. The network supports vehicle sales and distribution across multiple regions.
