Zelio E-Mobility has launched an aggressive hiring spree. With the aim to expand their operations in both manufacturing and business departments in the current fiscal year. The electric scooter manufacturing company plans to increase their total number of employees. Beyond 500 from about 260 currently as they prepare themselves for their next level of growth.

According to the company, the aggressive hiring process will help them expand their manufacturing operations, leadership team and sales channels. This also shows that the company intends to develop their capabilities within the regions they operate in.

Hiring program at three plants

The Zelio's employee strength increase will be carried out across its three main manufacturing plants in Hisar, Bhubaneswar and Coimbatore. The company currently operates at all these places and the latest plant in Coimbatore is expected to make greater contributions in the future.

Important staffing numbers are as follows:

  • 100 staff in Coimbatore

The company stated that staff will be recruited at all levels of the business from plant level to R&D, production planning, quality, sales & after-sales service. The company wants to strengthen zonal leadership with an increased presence in key markets.

Capability Building
