VinFast India has appointed Shalabh Rajvanshi as Deputy CEO of its two-wheeler business. The move comes as the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer expands its presence in India's electric two-wheeler market and works on developing its sales, financing, service, and charging ecosystem.

VinFast India has appointed Shalabh Rajvanshi as Deputy CEO for its two-wheeler business as the company continues to build its presence in the Indian electric mobility market.
Rajvanshi joins the company with experience across vehicle retail and financing. He spent nearly two decades at Hero MotoCorp, where he worked on dealer network development and market expansion initiatives. He later headed the vehicle lending business at Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company, focusing on mobility financing.

Focus on Distribution and Ecosystem Development
In his new role, Rajvanshi will oversee efforts related to dealer network expansion, financing partnerships, after-sales service operations, and charging ecosystem development for VinFast's two-wheeler business in India.
According to the company, his responsibilities will also include working with fleet operators and ecosystem partners as VinFast prepares for wider market participation in the country.
Rajvanshi stated that the growth of electric mobility in India will depend on the availability of distribution, financing, and service infrastructure alongside vehicle offerings.
VinFast Strengthens Global Leadership Team
In May 2026, the company named Prashanth Rao as Chief Executive Officer of its Middle East operations. Rao, who has worked with automotive companies including Hero MotoCorp, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Honda, Nissan Motor Corporation, and VinFast, is responsible for overseeing regional operations and business performance in the Middle East. His experience includes dealer network management, after-sales operations, customer quality, business operations, and digital transformation initiatives.
