VinFast EC Van: Market Positioning and Rivals
In its home market, the EC Van is offered in colour options such as Gold, White, Red and Green. The vehicle is intended for cargo and logistics use, including small businesses and delivery operations.
If introduced in India, the EC Van could compete with the Maruti Suzuki Eeco in the entry-level van segment. The Eeco is priced from Rs 5.20 lakh (ex-showroom) and is widely used for both passenger and cargo applications. As of now, VinFast has not officially confirmed the launch timeline for the EC Van in India.
Maruti Suzuki Eeco dimensions:
- Length: 3,675 mm
- Width: 1,475 mm
- Height: 1,825 mm
- Wheelbase: 2,350 mm
- Seating Capacity: 5
- Turning Radius: 4.5 metres
Compared to the Eeco, the EC Van is longer and wider, and it has a longer wheelbase. However, the Eeco is slightly taller and offers a tighter turning radius.
