VIDA Unveils New Identity
VIDA, the electric mobility division backed by Hero MotoCorp. Rolled out a new brand identity on July 1, 2026, indicating a transition from an e-scooter specialist to a comprehensive mobility company. This move was made together with a special Asia Book of Records award for developing the biggest brand logo. A striking symbol reflecting the vision of a wider strategy.
Why the change now?
Since the launch of its global operations in 2022, VIDA expanded the scope of products beyond premium electric scooters to include:
- Scooters for families and commuting.
- DIRT.E series of off-road scooters.
- NOVUS, a next-gen mobility platform for connected and modular solutions.
This rebranding is intended to make VIDA look like a convenient and reliable mobility company.
New visual language and sound
Right at the center of the visual makeover lies a geometric V-Lettermark inspired by certain elements of Hero’s logo:
- The left pillar that is a part of Hero’s “H” symbolizes reliability, engineering expertise, and manufacturing scale.
- The 30-degree forward leaning angle signifies energy, movement, and innovation.
Along with the new lettermark, VIDA will introduce “The VOOM”. It is a kinetic motion language and electrifying sonic signature. That will be featured across product animations, digital interfaces, and the entire experience of riding on a VIDA. The new wordmark features black and white color scheme. Uses orange accents to represent optimism and forward momentum. VIDA will still use the tag “Powered by Hero” to demonstrate its association with the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters.
Sharing her insights on the brand's evolution, Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer, Emerging Mobility Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp, said, "Today’s customer is buying an upgrade to their life, and they expect it to be effortless, reliable and within reach. Our new identity is built for that customer, and for the breadth of what VIDA now offers. The V-Letter mark captures it best: Hero's legacy and VIDA's future, moving forward together. Hero gives our aspiration scale; VIDA gives that scale desirability. Together, we are making aspirations accessible."
Asia Book of Records moment
For this purpose, VIDA broke the record for creating the largest brand logo in the Asia Book of Records that stretched over an area of 35,292 square feet. Multiple vehicles were used in this process to create the record, including the VIDA VX2, DIRT.E K3, NOVUS NEX 1, and Hero XPulse.
ELCTRIK Speaks
The new geometric design of the V Lettermark, influenced by the legacy of Hero. The dynamic “VOOM” motion and sound design speak of trust, evolution, and dynamism. Being a part of Hero MotoCorp, VIDA highlighted its diversified portfolio, which includes commuter and family scooters, DIRT.E, and the NOVUS range of scooters.
