Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV) announced changes in its senior leadership. The company said B Srinivas will take over as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer from April 1, 2026. Srinivas will replace Vinod Aggarwal, who will transition to the role of Chairman of the Board.
B Srinivas to Lead as MD and CEO
B Srinivas has worked with the Eicher group for more than three decades in roles related to strategy, sales, marketing and operations.
He has been serving as Chief Operating Officer of VECV since 2024. Before that, he was Head of Product Strategy and Purchasing between 2022 and 2024. From 2018 to 2022, he led the Eicher bus business at VECV. With the new appointment, Srinivas will oversee the company’s operations and business activities.
Speaking on the leadership transition at VECV, Siddhartha Lal, Chairman, Eicher Motors Ltd. Vinod Aggarwal Appointed Chairman
Following the change in leadership, Vinod Aggarwal, currently Vice Chairman of Eicher Motors Limited, will become Chairman of the Board of VECV from April 1, 2026. Aggarwal has led VECV as Managing Director and CEO for sixteen years. He will take over the Chairman position from Sofia Frändberg, who has completed her three-year term as Chairperson and nominee of AB Volvo. Frändberg will continue to serve on the company’s board.
Board Changes at VECV
Rajinder Singh Sachdeva, who retired as Deputy CEO and Chief Transformation Officer of VECV, has been nominated to the company’s board as a nominee of Eicher Motors Limited. He replaces Raul Rai, who will step down as Director of VECV after serving on the board since the company was established.
