Uno Minda has announced the launch of a new metal wiper blade range for the Indian aftermarket. The company stated that the product line uses technology sourced from Taiwan and has been developed for passenger vehicles operating in varying weather and road conditions.
Focus on Visibility and Wiper Performance
According to Uno Minda, the new wiper blades feature a pressure-balanced frame designed to maintain consistent contact with the windshield. The objective is to provide uniform wiping performance across the glass surface and reduce streak formation over time.

The blades also use rubber elements coated with graphite and Teflon. The company states that these coatings help reduce friction during operation, which can contribute to lower noise levels and smoother wiping action.
Durability and Vehicle Compatibility
Uno Minda claims that the wiper blades have been tested for up to 500,000 wiping cycles. The company has also equipped the range with a universal adapter system that is intended to fit a majority of passenger vehicle models sold in the country.
The new range will be available through automotive retail outlets as well as e-commerce platforms.

The metal wiper blade range is priced between Rs 180 and Rs 405 (MRP). Customers can purchase the products through online marketplaces and Uno Minda's distribution network across India.
