Ultraviolette Shockwave
Ultraviolette has confirmed that the Shockwave electric motorcycle will use the company's new 100V electrical architecture and is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2027. The company said the new architecture is expected to improve power delivery, thermal efficiency and charging performance.
The Shockwave was developed as a lightweight electric motorcycle for off-road riding. Ultraviolette has also confirmed that the motorcycle will be available in single-seat and dual-seat configurations.

Production Line Setup Underway
Ultraviolette has started preparing a production line for the Shockwave at its existing manufacturing facility. The company has not yet announced the motorcycle's final specifications, pricing or booking details. Further information about the launch and technical specifications is expected to be announced closer to its planned introduction in Q1 2027.
100V Architecture To Be Used In Tesseract
The Shockwave's adoption of the 100V architecture follows Ultraviolette's earlier announcement that the Tesseract electric scooter would also use the same system.
While the Shockwave and Tesseract are designed for different vehicle categories, the shared architecture reflects the company's plan to use the technology across multiple electric vehicle platforms.
Narayan Subramaniam, Co-founder & CEO, Ultraviolette said: “From the outset, we envisioned the Shockwave as a motorcycle that would bring back the pure enjoyment of riding. Bringing our 100V architecture to the Shockwave is an important step in realising that vision. When it launches in Q1 2027, we are certain it will be an exceptionally engaging motorcycle to ride. The Shockwave and Tesseract have been in parallel development over the past year and work is already underway to set up the Shockwave production line at our existing facility.”
Elctrik Speaks
