Ultraviolette Automotive has launched a new experience centre, called a UV Space Station, in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The facility was inaugurated by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari. With this addition, the company has expanded its presence to multiple cities across India, increasing access to its electric motorcycles in central India.
Sales, Service and Test Rides Under One Roof
The Nagpur facility is a 3S centre, offering sales, service and spare parts. Customers can book test rides, access service support and explore motorcycle accessories at the same location. The centre has been set up in partnership with Quantum Surge Motors LLP.

Models Available at the Facility
The experience centre will offer Ultraviolette’s X-47 Crossover and F77 models. Both motorcycles use an electric powertrain rated at 40.2 hp and 100 Nm of torque. The company states that the motorcycles can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 2.8 seconds and offer a claimed range of 323 km on a single charge, based on IDC standards. They are equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery.
Technology and Features
The X-47 Crossover includes a radar-based system and rider assistance features such as blind-spot monitoring, lane change alerts and rear collision warnings. It uses a 77 GHz rear radar system. Other features include a 5-inch TFT display, multiple ride modes, long-travel suspension and all-terrain tyres. The motorcycle also comes with an onboard charger and an integrated dashcam.
Battery Subscription Model Introduced
The company has introduced a battery subscription model called Battery Flex. Under this, customers can purchase the motorcycle chassis and opt for a monthly battery subscription. The X-47 is available with a starting price of Rs 1,49,000 for the chassis, while the battery subscription begins at Rs 2,499 per month.
Electrik Speaks
The expansion into Nagpur reflects a continued focus on building retail and service infrastructure alongside product development. The introduction of subscription-based battery ownership may help address upfront cost concerns, but its long-term adoption will depend on customer response and operational execution.
