Transport + Traffic Infratech Expo 2026 to Focus on ITS, AI Traffic Management and Connected Mobility
The 14th edition of Transport + Traffic Infratech Expo will be held in New Delhi alongside the ITS India Congress, with discussions on intelligent transport, AI-based traffic management, connected vehicles and digital mobility systems.

The 14th edition of the Transport + Traffic Infratech Expo, along with Road Infratech Expo and Parking Infratech Expo, will be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on October 7 and 8, 2026. The event will bring together companies, government representatives, policymakers and professionals working in transport and infrastructure.
The organisers said more than 55 exhibitors will participate in the exhibition, covering technologies and products related to transport, roads, parking and traffic management.
The event is being supported by organisations including the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Digital India, CSIR-Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI), Indian Highways Management Company Ltd (IHMCL) and Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU).
Focus on Intelligent Transport Systems
This year's edition will place greater focus on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Intelligent Traffic Management Systems (ITMS), AI-based traffic management, connected vehicles, integrated mobility infrastructure and Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) tolling.
The event will also cover telematics and technologies used for connected fleets and traffic monitoring. The Transport + Traffic Infratech Expo is being held alongside the ITS India Congress under a strategic alliance between Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, VIS Group and ITS India Forum.
Public Transport and Digital Systems
Public transportation will be another area of focus, with exhibitors and discussions covering e-ticketing, smart cards, passenger information displays, communication systems, public-address systems, security and surveillance. The organisers expect these technologies to support the wider adoption of digital systems across public transport networks.
The exhibitor list includes companies such as Aabmatica Technologies, Aditya Infotech, Go IP Global Services, Kataline, Katomaran Technologies, Newtech Video System, Netrabit Networks, Norden Communication, Prama India, Wizpro Consultech and Samriddhi Automations (Sparsh). International participation includes LLC ‘IRZ’ Telecom.
ITS India Congress 2026
The ITS India Congress 2026 will be held at Hall 1 of Bharat Mandapam under the theme "Connected, Integrated and Intelligent Mobility for Viksit Bharat 2047."
The first day will focus on India's ITS roadmap, AI-based traffic management, digital enforcement, barrierless tolling, road-user charging, MLFF, GNSS-based tolling and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies.
Representatives from organisations including ARAI, CSIR-CRRI, IHMCL, IRF, MoRTH, NHAI and NITI Aayog are expected to participate. International ITS organisations from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan will also be part of the programme.
The second day will cover multimodal logistics under PM Gati Shakti, ITS standards and capacity building. A Global ITS Leadership Dialogue Roundtable will also be held, bringing together representatives from government, industry and academia. The programme will conclude with a valedictory session and an award ceremony linked to the National Road Safety Technology Conference (NRSTC) 2026 at IIT Bombay.
Speaking on the occasion, Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, said: " Every edition of Transport + Traffic Infratech Expo has presented a rich and wide-ranging product showcase reflecting India's own transport priorities, and this one is no different. What makes 2026 stand out for us is bringing the ITS India Congress directly into the show — so the conversations happening on stage, between policymakers and various transport authorities, are taking place right next to the technologies on the exhibition floor.”
Elctrik Speaks
India's transport infrastructure is increasingly incorporating digital systems for traffic management, toll collection, fleet operations and public transport. The focus on ITS, connected vehicles and AI-based traffic systems at this year's expo reflects the wider shift towards using data and digital technologies in transport planning and operations.
The combination of the exhibition and ITS India Congress also brings government agencies, technology companies, infrastructure firms and academic institutions into the same forum to discuss areas such as traffic management, tolling, road safety, public transport and multimodal mobility.
