The fourth edition of THE ADAS SHOW is scheduled to take place on 3 December 2026 at ADAS Test City, ARAI, Takwe, Pune. The event will bring together representatives from automotive manufacturers, Tier-1 suppliers, technology companies, testing and validation organisations, government bodies and academic institutions.

The event is being held with support from the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI).

The programme will cover developments in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication, artificial intelligence, software-defined vehicles, connected mobility, localisation and testing and validation.

ARAI to open the event

Dr. Reji Mathai, Director, ARAI, will deliver the opening note at the event. Discussions are expected to address the development and testing of vehicle safety and driver assistance technologies for the Indian market.

The participation of government representatives is also expected, including officials from the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH).

ITS India Forum to discuss V2V communication

The ITS India Forum will participate as the Strategic Partner for the event and will conduct a session focused on Vehicle-to-Vehicle communication.

The session will be led by Akhilesh Srivastava, President, ITS India Forum. It will examine the use of V2V communication and connected vehicle technologies in road safety and intelligent transportation systems.

V2V technology enables vehicles to exchange information with other vehicles. The technology is being considered as part of wider connected mobility systems that can support information sharing between vehicles and infrastructure.

ADAS demonstrations and technology exhibition

The event will include a conference, technology exhibition and live demonstrations at ADAS Test City, ARAI.

The demonstrations will cover ADAS functions and vehicle capabilities in a controlled testing environment. The exhibition will include solutions from automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, technology companies, engineering organisations, component manufacturers and testing and validation companies.

An Exhibitor March is also planned, allowing representatives from automotive companies and suppliers to visit participating exhibitors as part of the event programme.

Focus on India-ready ADAS and vehicle software

Another area of discussion will be the development of ADAS technologies for Indian road and operating conditions.

The programme will also address the increasing role of AI and software in vehicles, including the development of software-defined vehicles, connected vehicle systems and related testing requirements.

Testing and validation are expected to be a key part of the discussions as automotive manufacturers and technology suppliers develop and deploy new driver assistance and vehicle software systems.

The fourth edition of THE ADAS SHOW comes at a time when ADAS, connected vehicles and vehicle software are becoming a larger part of discussions around automotive safety in India.

For the industry, the focus is shifting beyond individual ADAS features towards how sensors, vehicle software, connectivity, testing infrastructure and road environments work together. The discussions around V2V communication and India-specific ADAS development are therefore relevant to the wider question of how advanced vehicle technologies can be tested and adapted for Indian conditions.
