Tata Motors introduced the facelifted Punch EV in India in February 2026. The model is offered with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option starting at Rs 6.49 lakh, along with a battery subscription cost of Rs 2.6 per kilometre. The electric SUV is available with two battery packs: 30kWh and 40kWh.

Tata Punch EV Facelift: Design Updates

The facelift version features a revised front bumper and a closed grille. The black trim that earlier connected the headlamps has been removed. The Y-shaped LED daytime running lamps and the front charging flap remain unchanged.


It now gets 16-inch aero-style alloy wheels and three new exterior colour options with a black roof. At the rear, the connected LED tail-lamps follow the design seen on the updated petrol Punch. Ground clearance is rated at 195mm, while water-wading capacity stands at 450mm.

Tata Punch EV Facelift: Charging

The Punch EV facelift supports fast charging. Under test conditions, charging from 20 percent to 80 percent takes about 26 minutes. It can add up to 135km of real-world range in 15 minutes.


The 40kWh battery pack comes with a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty for the first owner, subject to terms and conditions.


Tata Punch EV Facelift: Features and Safety

The cabin of the Punch EV facelift includes a 10.25-inch infotainment system by Harman and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation view. Other features include a 360-degree camera, blind spot view monitor, ventilated front seats, wireless charger and over-the-air updates.


The 40kWh variants also get an electronic parking brake with auto hold.


Safety features include six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ISOFIX mounts and hill hold control.
