Steelbird Appoints Vinay Kumar as Senior Manager - PR & Communications

Steelbird Hi-Tech India Limited has appointed Vinay Kumar as Senior Manager – PR & Communications. In the new role, Kumar will handle the company’s media relations, corporate communications, brand communication and public relations activities.

Kumar will also coordinate with Steelbird’s communication agencies and work with internal teams on media interactions, press communication and other communication requirements.

Experience in Public Relations

Kumar has over four years of experience in public relations and strategic communications, with work across the automotive and mobility sectors. Before moving to Steelbird, Kumar was associated with Regional Public Relations (RPR), where he worked on media relations, corporate communications, product communication, press events, influencer engagement and digital communication.

He has also been associated with Steelbird’s PR mandate for around three-and-a-half years, giving him experience in the company’s products, business activities and communication requirements.

Role at Steelbird

As part of his new responsibility, Kumar will focus on media engagement, corporate communication, PR planning and coordination between Steelbird and its external communication partners.

His responsibilities will also include developing communication material, managing media interactions and supporting communication around the company’s products, business developments and industry activities.

Steelbird’s Communication Focus

Kumar’s appointment comes as Steelbird continues to work across its manufacturing and product operations in the two-wheeler helmet segment. The company’s communication activities will cover areas including product updates, business developments, safety, technology and industry-related announcements.
