Flying Flea C6 Design
The Flying Flea C6 takes design cues from Royal Enfield’s Flying Flea motorcycle from the 1940s. The new electric motorcycle uses a lightweight forged-aluminium structure and an exoskeleton frame.
It gets a forged-aluminium Girder front fork, which is a modern interpretation of the suspension used on the original Flying Flea. The motorcycle also features battery fins integrated into the design of the bodywork. The C6 will be offered in three colour options: Flea Green, Storm Black and Parachute White. The motorcycle gets a round TFT instrument display with touchscreen functionality. It also has adjustable footpeg positions and a removable pillion setup.
Fleaware OS and Connected Features
The Flying Flea C6 uses Royal Enfield's Fleaware operating system, which is based on Android Automotive OS. The system works with a dedicated mobile application and supports over-the-air software updates.
The motorcycle features a rotary mode selector, joystick controls for the TFT display, cruise control, voice assistance and a programmable button.
Riders can also select between Rapid, Standard and Trickle charging modes. The motorcycle comes with regenerative braking, traction control and lean-angle ABS. Connected functions include navigation and remote monitoring through the motorcycle's software and mobile application.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6: Battery and Performance
The Flying Flea C6 is powered by a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery pack is housed in a magnesium-alloy casing and uses an air-cooled ventilation system.
The electric motor produces a peak power output of 15.4 kW at 3,500 rpm and 60 Nm of maximum torque. The motorcycle has a claimed WMTC range of 104 km and a top speed of 115 km/h. The company says the C6 can be charged from 20% to 80% in slightly more than 60 minutes using its onboard charging system. It can also be connected to a standard 16-amp wall outlet.
European and UK Rollout
The Flying Flea C6 is being introduced through a city-based rollout covering Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin and London. Bookings are priced at €5,990 across Europe and £5,300 in the UK. Deliveries are expected to start in October 2026. Royal Enfield has also said that its Flying Flea locations will have dedicated service infrastructure and remote monitoring systems for customers.
Speaking on the Flying Flea’s entry into Europe & the UK, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director - Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer - Royal Enfield, said, "Our foray into electric mobility through the differentiated Flying Flea brand reflects our long-term intent to build a new category of electric mobility. The response to the Flying Flea C6, our first electric motorcycle, since its launch in Bengaluru, India has been outstanding with early riders logging over 100,000 customer-ridden kilometres in just three months. This response, backed by significant R&D investment, years of rigorous testing, and in-house innovation, gives us the confidence to expand Flying Flea's presence further. The FF.C6 purposefully brings together our design language from the past with advanced battery and connected vehicle technology, delivering a category-creating, authentic, agile, and premium ride experience. Our rollout in Europe and the UK will be phased, prioritising a robust sales and service network and infrastructure so we can ensure a superior ownership experience from day one. We are building this electric future with commitment, and with an exciting product pipeline ahead, Flying Flea is all set to take Royal Enfield's legacy into a new era."
Elctrik Speaks
The Flying Flea C6 marks Royal Enfield's entry into the electric motorcycle segment under a separate Flying Flea brand. Its specifications place it in the urban electric motorcycle category, with a 104 km claimed WMTC range, 115 km/h top speed and a 15.4 kW motor.
The European and UK launch also gives Royal Enfield an opportunity to establish the Flying Flea brand outside India before expanding its electric motorcycle portfolio further.
