EV Deployment for Employee Transportation

Under the agreement, RouteMatic will deploy Green SM's electric vehicle fleet within its employee transportation services. The move is aimed at providing enterprises with access to electric mobility solutions for workforce commuting across key business locations.

RouteMatic currently provides corporate mobility services to more than 400 enterprises in India and operates employee transportation services in cities including Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Delhi-NCR.

Focus on Fleet Electrification

The partnership comes as businesses increasingly explore ways to reduce transportation-related emissions and align with sustainability targets. According to RouteMatic, its existing electric vehicle operations in Bengaluru and Pune have contributed to reducing fuel consumption through the deployment of more than 400 EVs.

The company stated that these operations have helped avoid approximately 15.7 lakh litres of fuel consumption annually.

Combining EV Fleet and Mobility Technology

Green SM officially started operations in India on June 5, 2026, with Delhi-NCR as its first market. The company operates an all-electric fleet built around the VinFast Limo Green seven-seater SUV.

As part of the collaboration, Green SM's electric vehicle fleet will be combined with RouteMatic's transportation management platform, which includes fleet management and route optimization capabilities for corporate mobility operations.

Growing Demand for Sustainable Corporate Mobility

India's corporate transportation sector is witnessing increasing demand for electric mobility solutions, driven by the expansion of business hubs, growth in Global Capability Centres (GCCs), and corporate sustainability initiatives.

Through this partnership, both companies plan to support the wider adoption of electric vehicles in workforce transportation and contribute to ongoing fleet electrification efforts in the country.
