Renault India reported wholesale dispatches of 3,495 units in February 2026, compared to 2,676 units in February 2025, reflecting a 31% year-on-year increase.
For the January–February 2026 period, the company posted cumulative growth of 32% over the corresponding period last year. Renault stated that it has recorded consistent growth since the third quarter of calendar year 2025. During Q3 CY2025, the company reported 9% YoY growth, followed by 27% growth in Q4 CY2025. The first two months of 2026 have continued this trend with 32% cumulative growth.
Model-Wise Contribution
Growth in February was supported by demand for the Renault Kiger and Renault Triber. The Triber recorded a 57% year-on-year increase in February 2026. The company indicated that updated versions of both models have contributed to improved volumes in recent months.
Duster Launch Timeline and Booking Details
Renault India is scheduled to launch the new-generation Duster in India on March 17, 2026. The model was showcased earlier in January this year. The Duster nameplate returns to the Indian market after being discontinued in 2022. Bookings have commenced at an initial amount of ₹21,000. The expected ex-showroom price range is between ₹11 lakh and ₹22 lakh. A hybrid variant is also planned for introduction later in the year.
New Renault Duster Powertrain Options
The New Renault Duster will be offered with three engine options in India:
- A 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 100 bhp and 160 Nm of torque, paired with a manual transmission.
- A 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 163 bhp and 280 Nm of torque, available with a 6-speed manual or dual-clutch automatic transmission.
- A strong-hybrid system combining a 1.8-litre petrol engine with two electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery pack, producing a combined output of 160 bhp. This version is expected to be introduced around the festive season.
