Chennai-based electric motorcycle manufacturer Raptee.HV has started customer deliveries of the T30 in March 2026. The rollout marks the company’s transition from product development and validation to retail operations. Chennai is the first operational market for the brand. Delivery and service infrastructure have been activated in the city.
Expansion Plans
The company plans to expand to Bengaluru in April 2026 with a dedicated showroom and authorised service centre. By the end of the year, Raptee.HV aims to enter other South Indian state capitals and begin operations in Western India as part of a phased expansion plan.
Price and Powertrain Details
The Raptee.HV T30 is priced at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). It is equipped with a 5.4 kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor producing 29.5hp and 70Nm of torque. The motorcycle is built on the company’s HV-Tec high-voltage architecture, which is derived from electric car platforms.
Charging and Warranty
The T30 supports the CCS2 charging standard, allowing it to use public DC fast-charging stations designed for electric cars. The company states that the battery can be charged from 20 to 80 percent in 36 minutes using a DC fast charger. Using the onboard home charger, charging is claimed to take slightly over an hour for a top-up.
The motorcycle comes with an 8-year battery warranty and a 3-year vehicle warranty. The ownership package includes a single point of contact for service and roadside assistance through an authorised partner.
Dinesh Arjun, CEO and co-founder, said, “With the commencement of large-scale customer deliveries, we’re excited to be sharing our product with a larger audience, a product that’s been seven years in the making. This moment is built on the trust of our earliest customers, those who believed in our vision, our technology and our team before anyone else. We carry deep gratitude for that faith, and our commitment is to honour it not just with a motorcycle but with a seamless ownership journey from day one. We are not only delivery-ready; we are service-ready.”
