Oben Electric announced the launch of the Rorr EVO electric motorcycle in India on April 29, 2026. The model is available at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers. After this, the price will increase to Rs 1,24,999 (ex-showroom). Bookings have opened at Rs 777, with deliveries expected to begin from June 2026.

Oben Rorr EVO: Design and Build

The Rorr EVO features a street-focused design with a projector headlamp and integrated lighting elements. The body panels are shaped to provide a standard upright riding stance. The motorcycle includes a long seat measuring 680 mm and a seat height of 780 mm. Ground clearance is rated at 200 mm, along with a claimed water-wading capability of 230 mm. Storage capacity stands at 10 litres, including under-seat and tank storage.

Oben Rorr EVO: Performance and Range

The motorcycle has a top speed of 110 km/h and a claimed IDC range of 180 km. It accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 3 seconds. Fast charging from 0 to 80 percent is claimed to take 90 minutes using a compatible fast charger. An onboard charger is also provided for regular charging needs.

Oben Rorr EVO: Battery and Powertrain

The Rorr EVO is powered by a 3.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. The battery is housed in an aluminium casing and carries an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water. The company states that the battery offers a longer lifecycle compared to conventional lithium-ion units and is backed by an 8-year warranty.

The motorcycle includes an AI-based ride mode called SmartIQ, which adjusts power delivery based on riding inputs. It also features a 5-inch TFT display that shows navigation, ride information, and notifications. Connectivity functions are accessible through a mobile application, which includes ride data, geo-fencing, remote diagnostics, and vehicle tracking.

Safety systems on the Rorr EVO include fall detection with emergency alerts, unified brake assist, and a driver alert system. Additional features include a wider rear tyre for stability and a secure charging mechanism.

The motorcycle is offered in four colour options: Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon White. The company plans to offer the model through 150 showrooms across India.
