Oben Electric recorded 1,417 electric motorcycle registrations in September 2026, according to Vahan data. The company said the registrations marked its highest monthly sales and placed it at the top of the electric motorcycle segment for the month.

The September registrations come after the company expanded sales of its Rorr Evo electric motorcycle across multiple markets in India.

Rorr Evo Drives September Registrations

The Rorr Evo is one of Oben Electric's key products in the electric motorcycle segment. The motorcycle is positioned around parameters such as performance, range, design, technology and everyday use.

Oben said the September registration figure reflects the company's growing presence in the electric motorcycle market. The company has also been expanding the Rorr Evo's availability through its sales and service network.

Oben Rolls Out 10,000th Motorcycle

Oben Electric has also reported the production of its 10,000th electric motorcycle from its manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. The company operates a 3.5-acre manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, with an annual production capacity of 1 lakh motorcycles. The facility supports production of the company's electric motorcycle range as it expands its presence across India.

In-House EV Technology Development

Oben Electric follows an integrated product development approach, with the company stating that it develops several EV components in-house. These include LFP batteries, electric motors, vehicle control units (VCUs), chargers and software. The company says this allows it to manage technology development, engineering and manufacturing within its operations.

Sales And Service Network

Oben Electric currently has more than 150 showrooms and dedicated Oben Care service centres across over 90 cities in 18 states, according to the company.

The network covers vehicle sales, test rides, deliveries and after-sales service. The company is expanding this network alongside the rollout of its electric motorcycles in additional markets.
