JSW MG Motor India announced a new ownership package called the 5-5-5 programme for the MG Majestor SUV. The programme combines three customer support elements into a single package. These include a five-year unlimited kilometre vehicle warranty, five years of roadside assistance without kilometre limits, and five labour-free scheduled services.
According to the company, the programme is intended to cover early ownership costs and provide service support during the initial years of vehicle usage.
Coverage details under the programme
Under the package, the vehicle warranty does not have a kilometre limit and remains valid for five years. The roadside assistance service will also be available for five years across the country.
In addition, the first five scheduled services will not include labour charges. Customers will still need to pay for parts and consumables used during servicing. The company said the programme will be available to the first 3,000 customers who pre-reserve the MG Majestor. The pre-reservation amount has been set at ₹41,000.
Engine and drivetrain
The MG Majestor is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine producing 215.5 PS of power and 478.5 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV will be offered in two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations.
The vehicle includes three differential locks (front, rear and centre), an advanced 4WD system with multiple terrain modes, and crawl control designed for low-speed off-road driving. It also has 219 mm ground clearance and 810 mm water wading capacity.
Safety and technology features
The Majestor is equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These systems use sensors and cameras to support functions such as driver assistance and safety monitoring.
Bookings and launch timeline
Pre-reservations for the MG Majestor are currently open through the company’s website with a booking amount of ₹41,000. According to the company, showroom displays and test drives are expected to begin in April 2026, while customer deliveries are scheduled to start in May 2026.
