Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the XUV 3XO EV in the Indian market. The sub-4 meter EV kicks off at ₹13.89 lakh. This electric SUV competes directly with the Tata Nexon EV. The XUV 3XO EV will replace the XUV 400 EV in the Indian market. The car was launched on January 5th, 2026. Availability for the car will begin from February 23rd.


Initiate Buzz and Pricing Edge

The first event showcased Mahindra’s expanding range of EVs. Currently comprising four models: the BE 6e, XEV 9e, and XEV 9S. Two models are available in the market initially:

  1. AX5: Base price starts at ₹13.89 lakh, it
  2. AX7L: Top-end trim price is around

Add ₹50,000 for the 7.2kW AC fast charger feature. It's aggressively priced, taking down the competition while waving the premium flag. It makes the thought of EVs a non-stretch for the urban buyer.


Powertrain and Real-World Range

At the heart of this vehicle is a 39.4kWh battery pack powering the front axle electric motor. This produces 147bhp and 310Nm of torque. This translates to a quick 0-100kmph acceleration of 8.3 seconds. The estimated mileage stands at 285km.

The styling is inspired by ICE XUV 3XO's distinctive designs, with C-shaped DRLs. For instance, or twin-spoke alloys, but then there are touches exclusive to EV. With rose gold accents for grills and blue-colored badges.
