Mahindra & Mahindra has revised its SUV roadmap, targeting a total of 15 new SUV launches by FY31. This includes 9 internal combustion engine (ICE) models and 6 battery electric vehicles (BEVs), along with one mid-life update in the ICE portfolio.
The earlier plan, announced in May 2024, had outlined 9 ICE SUVs and 7 EVs. As of March 31, 2026, the company has launched 5 ICE models and 4 EVs, with the remaining pipeline comprising 4 ICE SUVs and 3 EVs from the original plan.

Additional Launches and Revision
The updated roadmap adds 6 new ICE SUVs and 3 EVs to the existing pipeline. With this revision, the total planned portfolio stands at 9 ICE SUVs and 6 EVs to be introduced by 2031, along with one mid-cycle update.
The company indicated that the revision reflects an extension of its earlier roadmap and a recalibration of product introductions over the period.
Focus on SUV Segment
Mahindra continues to rely on the SUV segment as a key part of its automotive business. The company reported a revenue share of over 25% from SUVs, supported by demand across its current portfolio.
LCV Product Plan
Alongside SUVs, Mahindra has outlined plans for its light commercial vehicle (LCV) business. The company intends to introduce 10 new LCV products by FY31.

The revised product plan shows a balanced approach between ICE and EV portfolios. While EV launches remain part of the roadmap, the continued addition of ICE models indicates a phased transition aligned with market demand.
