Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. reported strong growth in its domestic passenger vehicle business for February 2026, registering a solid double-digit increase both for the month and year-to-date (YTD).
Utility Vehicles Drive Growth
Mahindra’s Utility Vehicle (UV) portfolio continued to power the company’s momentum. The automaker dispatched 60,018 UVs in February 2026 reflecting a Year-on-Year growth of 19 percent when compared to 50,420 units sold in the same month last year.
On a year-to-date basis (April–February), Mahindra’s domestic passenger vehicle sales stood at 6,00,004 units reflecting a Y-o-Y growth of 19 percent when compared to 5,03,439 units during the corresponding period last fiscal.
Mahindra January 2026 Sales
In January 2026, Mahindra recorded domestic passenger vehicle sales of 63,510 units in the Indian market. This marks a year-on-year increase of 12,851 units compared to 50,659 units sold in January 2025. The growth translates to a robust 25.36% rise in monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales on a YoY basis.

Mahindra has also recently launched the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition in India. Priced at Rs 29.35 lakh (ex-showroom), the new special edition sits above the XEV 9e Pack Three Select 59kWh variant in the lineup. Bookings for the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition opened today, while deliveries are scheduled to begin from March 10, 2026.
The Cineluxe Edition is offered exclusively with the larger 79kWh battery pack. It is powered by a rear-mounted electric motor that delivers 286bhp and 380Nm of torque.
