Mahindra has announced a second round of bookings for the BE 6 Batman Edition after the initial allocation of 999 units was sold out within 135 seconds of bookings opening.
The company said the new booking window has been introduced following continued interest from customers who were unable to secure the vehicle during the first round of sales.
The limited-edition electric SUV has been developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products and is based on the top-end Pack Three variant of the BE 6 equipped with a 79 kWh battery pack. The vehicle is priced at ₹28.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Exterior Design Elements
The BE 6 Batman Edition features design references inspired by Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy. The vehicle is finished in a Satin Black exterior colour and includes Alchemy Gold accents on the suspension components and brake callipers.
Batman-themed elements are also placed across different parts of the vehicle, including hub caps, front quarter panels, the rear bumper and the windows.
Interior Features
Inside the cabin, the SUV receives suede and leather upholstery with gold sepia stitching. The dashboard includes a Batman Edition plaque finished in brushed Alchemy Gold.
Additional elements include Batman-themed embossing on the seats, interior labels and the Boost button. The infotainment system also displays a custom welcome animation, and the vehicle includes Batman-inspired exterior sound effects.
Booking Details and Delivery Timeline
Mahindra announced on March 6 that customers can register their interest through the company’s dedicated electric SUV website.
Bookings will open on March 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM for one day. Existing BE 6 Batman Edition owners who refer new buyers will receive priority for delivery.
Deliveries of the vehicle are scheduled to begin on April 10, 2026.
Branded Editions in the Passenger Vehicle Market
The BE 6 Batman Edition is part of a trend in the passenger vehicle segment where manufacturers release limited editions linked to licensed entertainment properties. These versions typically combine standard vehicle platforms with design elements associated with well-known franchises.
