According to the 2026 investor presentation by Kia India, the Syros EV is scheduled for release in July 2026.

- Focus on balanced performance and minimal maintenance ownership over performance.
Price point and Safety Features
The Syros EV is expected to be priced at about ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom). Among the main strengths of the car is its safety credentials, with Kia promoting it as a “hi-standard” model for safety and driver assistance technology.
Strategy for Kia India with the Syros EV
As per Kia India’s plans, the Syros EV is expected to increase the volumes of electric vehicles in the mass segment while making use of its current manufacturing facility in Anantapur.
At launch time, it will gain a wide coverage in terms of compact, midsize, and premium SUV segments.
From the perspective of consumers, it will bring them the combination of a popular SUV silhouette, loaded with features. Along with the EV-specific price-to-performance ratio, competing directly with Tata Harrier EV and Hyundai Creta EV.
