Kia India has introduced the Model Year 2026 update of the Carens Clavis EV. The update includes a 6-seater configuration with second-row captain seats, in addition to the existing 7-seater layout. The company has also added GT-Line and X-Line trims for the extended-range variant. These are available across both seating configurations.
Kia Carens Clavis EV: Design and Feature Updates
The GT-Line variants include updates such as revised alloy wheel designs, lime-colored brake calipers, and metal pedals. The X-Line variant features a different exterior finish, including a Dark Gun Metal colour option.
Select variants are equipped with features such as a digital key and battery heater. Other updates include new alloy wheel designs and the availability of a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
Kia Carens Clavis EV: Battery, Range and Performance
The model continues with two battery pack options:
- 42 kWh battery with an ARAI-certified range of 404 km
- 51.4 kWh battery with an ARAI-certified range of 490 km
The vehicle is powered by motor options rated at 99 kW and 126 kW, delivering 255 Nm of torque. Fast charging from 10% to 80% is stated to take around 39 minutes.

The vehicle includes a dual panoramic display, connected car features, and standard safety systems such as six airbags, electronic stability control, and hill start assist.
The 6-seater configuration is available across multiple trims, while the 7-seater option continues in select variants.

The Kia Carens Clavis EV is offered in multiple variants across standard and extended-range battery options, with both 6- and 7-seater configurations.
- Ex-showroom prices range from approximately ₹17.99 lakh to ₹24.49 lakh, depending on the variant and battery option.
- The entry-level variant (HTK+) is priced at ₹17.99 lakh, while higher trims such as the extended-range variants go above ₹24 lakh.
The updated lineup includes trims such as HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX, GTX+, and X-Line across both battery configurations.
Charging and Ownership Ecosystem
Kia’s EV ecosystem provides access to charging infrastructure through its connected platform. Users can locate charging stations, check availability, and make payments through the mobile application.
The company states that its network includes over 15,000 charging points, along with EV-ready workshops and dealerships equipped with fast chargers.
