In July 2026, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) made the most ever total sales in a month. It recorded above the 75,000 sales mark for the first time ever. The firm recorded 75,360 units of sales which represented a healthy 25.4% growth. Compared to the corresponding period in the previous year.

Domestic and Exports Enhance Performance

The automobile firm recorded domestic sales of 54,210 units in July 2026 with a healthy growth of 23.3% year-on-year. The exports were recorded at 21,150 units with a growth of 31.4% year on year. HMIL stated that this was their best monthly exports performance in over 100 months.

CRETA and i20 Star Model Performances

Within the list of models, Hyundai CRETA was the star performer selling 18,088 units in July 2026. This was the best month for sales of this model so far this year in the year 2026. The other star performing model was the Hyundai i20 which also sold its best-ever month this year with 6,738 units being sold in July. From the above figures, it is evident that the core products of Hyundai have continued to command buyers' attention.
