Greaves Electric Mobility has launched an updated version of the Ampere Magnus Neo under its Ampere electric two-wheeler portfolio. Announced on April 24, 2026, the new variant is designed to address everyday commuting needs with a focus on accessibility and ease of use.
Design and Ride Enhancements
The latest iteration of the Ampere Magnus Neo incorporates ergonomic updates aimed at improving rider posture and comfort. It features a lighter build and revised wheel and motor configuration intended to deliver smoother acceleration and stable handling.

With a seat height of 777 mm and a kerb weight of 103 kg, the scooter is designed to offer easier ground reach and improved manoeuvrability, particularly in congested urban traffic. A 10-inch rear tyre has been added to enhance balance and control during city rides.
Platform and Structural Features
The scooter continues to be based on the existing Magnus Neo platform, which includes a dual-frame chassis and 158 mm ground clearance suited for varied road conditions. Braking performance and structural stability remain part of the platform’s core attributes.
The Magnus Neo platform has previously recorded a long-distance run of over 2,300 km between Bengaluru and Delhi in the city-speed electric scooter category.
Battery and Durability
The model is equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology. The battery system is designed to support an extended lifecycle, with claims of up to 10 years of usage under standard conditions. It has also been tested across temperature ranges from -40°C to 60°C.
Variants and Pricing
The new variant is offered in four colour options: Mystic Mauve, Butter Yellow, Ocean Blue, and Matcha Green. The starting price is set at ₹86,999.
