EKA Mobility reported a fivefold year-on-year increase in volumes for FY2025–26. The company sold 1,143 electric commercial vehicles and produced 1,344 units during the financial year. The growth comes alongside expansion of its vehicle portfolio and entry into new segments.
Operations Across Vehicle Segments
Electric Buses
The company secured orders under government-backed programs such as PM e-Bus Sewa and PM E-DRIVE. Its electric buses have been deployed across more than 15 states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and Delhi.

Small Commercial Vehicles (SCVs)
EKA Mobility expanded its presence in the SCV segment with passenger variants (3S and 6S) and three-wheeler cargo vehicles. These vehicles are being used for last-mile and intra-city operations.
Electric Trucks
The company entered the medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) truck segment during the year. This addition contributed to overall volumes and marked its entry into long-haul freight applications.
Hydrogen Fuel Cell Deployment
EKA Mobility deployed a 9-metre hydrogen fuel cell bus at Cochin International Airport. The project was developed in partnership with KPIT Technologies and BPCL. The company plans to deploy 15 more hydrogen-powered buses.
International Expansion
The company began electric bus deployments in Africa and entered into an agreement with Kerchanshe Group for CKD assembly and distribution in the region. It also signed an agreement with NBFI Capital to manufacture electric buses in Australia.
Manufacturing and Capacity
EKA Mobility operates two manufacturing facilities in Pune. A third plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, is expected to become operational soon. The company has outlined a planned annual production capacity of 10,000 buses, 6,000 trucks, and 24,000 SCVs.
Network and Orders
The company expanded its dealership network across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities and plans to add 120 more dealerships in FY2027.
It currently has an order book of over 6,000 electric buses, which are scheduled for delivery over the next two years.
