Dhoot Transmission Limited has partnered with Israel-based RideVision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) solutions as the company expands its presence in automotive electronics and intelligent mobility technologies.
The agreement marks Dhoot Transmission's entry into the ADAS segment, which is witnessing increased adoption across global automotive markets as vehicle manufacturers focus on safety and driver-assistance features.

Focus on Localization and Technology Integration
According to the company, the partnership will focus on bringing RideVision's ADAS technologies to India while adapting them to local road conditions and mobility requirements. The collaboration is expected to involve technology integration, localization efforts, and the development of safety-focused electronic solutions for the Indian market. ADAS technologies typically use cameras, sensors, and software to assist riders and drivers by identifying potential hazards and improving situational awareness.
Expansion of Electronics Business
Separately, Dhoot Transmission said it has entered into a business transfer agreement with Bengaluru-based Multilink through its subsidiary, Dhoot Automotive Systems Private Limited. The transaction is aimed at strengthening the company's electronics product business and expanding its capabilities in automotive electronics and technology-driven solutions.
Growing Interest in ADAS Technologies
The Indian automotive industry has been witnessing increasing interest in ADAS features across both passenger and two-wheeler segments. Regulatory focus on vehicle safety, along with rising consumer awareness, has encouraged manufacturers and suppliers to invest in advanced safety technologies.
Partnerships between domestic component manufacturers and global technology companies are expected to play a role in accelerating the adoption of such systems in the country.
