Some other features found in the SUV are:

Powertrain Details
Under the hood, the upcoming Tiggo 8 is going to get the plug-in hybrid setup. The global version of the Tiggo 8 has a 2.0-liter petrol engine coupled with the electric motor, generating a combined power output of 352bhp and 515Nm.
Previous reports about the regular Tiggo 8 variant were also citing a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine that had 241bhp and 390Nm. It was used in conjunction with a 7-speed DCT transmission, and was powered by a ZF AWD. This indicates that the Tiggo 8 brand could be utilized for more than one configuration.
India Market Possibility
The increased number of patents filed by Chery has added credibility to the potential return of Chery in India. However, this does not come as an official announcement from the company since the brand has supposedly been associated with the JSW-Chery partnership. For the time being, there have been no reports about any plans of launch in India.
Assuming that it actually happens, the Tiggo 8 would cost Rs. 30 lakh and would belong to the category of three-row premium SUVs.
ELCTRIK Speaks
The introduction of the Tiggo 8 by Chery to the Indian auto market would certainly make a significant entry into the seven-seater premium SUV market. Everything about it, starting from its design to its hybrid system and features is enough to make this car stand out in theory. However, whether this car succeeds in the Indian auto market or not depends on its price tag, customer service after buying it and the commitment by the firm to the market.
