BYD has strengthened its hold on the high-end electric SUV market of India through the introduction of the Sealion 7 Dynamic. Selling for Rs 41.90 lakh (ex-showroom), this new model variant comes as an effort to make the Sealion 7 affordable. But not compromise its inherent features.

Sealion 7 Dynamic Launch and Its Place in Line-up

Unveiled on August 20, 2026, the Sealion 7 Dynamic is being offered as part of BYD India’s recent ‘Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD’ marketing campaign. The new model now becomes the starting point of the Sealion 7 line-up. Going beneath the Premium and Performance models.

By offering the Sealion 7 Dynamic at a price about Rs 7.5-8 lakh. Lower than that of the preceding base version of the model. BYD has aimed at attracting a larger group of buyers who require a tech-packed, long-distance EV.

Underneath the bodywork, the Dynamic runs on BYD's e-Platform 3.0 platform with Cell-to-Body (CTB) design. It incorporates the battery pack into the vehicle structure.
