The 2026 Tata Tiago EV gets a revised dashboard design with a cleaner horizontal layout across the cabin. The dashboard now uses layered textures along with fabric inserts on the upper section. Tata has retained the dual-tone black and grey interior theme. The updated layout also changes the overall cabin appearance compared to the outgoing Tiago EV, which shared most of its interior with the standard petrol Tiago.

New Floating Instrument Display

One of the major changes inside the cabin is the addition of a free-standing digital instrument cluster placed behind the steering wheel. The Tiago EV also continues with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system positioned at the centre of the dashboard. The infotainment unit supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The digital display continues to show EV-related information including battery status and regeneration data.

Physical Controls Continue

Tata Motors has retained physical controls for the air-conditioning system. The cabin continues to use rotary knobs and tactile buttons instead of moving all functions inside the touchscreen.

The centre console layout has also been revised with a cleaner arrangement.

Updated Centre Console And Storage Areas

The facelifted Tata Tiago EV now gets:

  • USB Type-C charging ports
  • Additional storage spaces
  • Floating-style centre console layout

The cabin also appears to include dual storage trays near the centre console area.

Rear Seat Features Updated

The rear passengers now get additional convenience features including:

  • Dual-tone fabric seat upholstery

The rear seating layout remains unchanged and continues to accommodate two adults comfortably for regular city usage.

2026 Tata Tiago: Expected specifications include

Tata Motors has not officially revealed the updated powertrain specifications yet, but the Tiago EV is expected to continue with two battery pack options. The medium-range version is likely to use a 19.2kWh battery pack producing 61PS and 110Nm, with a claimed range of 223km. The long-range version is expected to feature a 24kWh battery pack generating 75PS and 114Nm, along with a claimed range of 293km. In terms of charging, the medium-range variant could support 20-80 percent DC fast charging in 52 minutes, while the long-range version may take around 58 minutes for the same charging cycle.

2026 Tata Tiago: Launch Date, Rivals And Expected Price

The 2026 Tata Tiago EV facelift will launch on May 28 alongside the updated petrol-powered Tiago. Expected prices could range between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 11.5 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant and battery pack option. The Tiago EV will continue to compete with entry-level electric hatchbacks and compact EVs in the Indian market.
