Yulu Expands EV Mobility Service in Noida

Yulu launched its shared mobility service in Noida on September 2, 2024, extending its reach to the 11th city in its national network. The initiative facilitates technology-driven, environmentally sustainable, and cost-effective hyperlocal deliveries. This expansion aligns with Yulu’s strategic agenda to consolidate its footprint in the Delhi-NCR region and synchronize with Uttar Pradesh’s EV Manufacturing and Mobility Policy.

Strategic hub for Noida Expansion 

Noida’s robust economy, large consumer base, and rapidly developing tech infrastructure create an optimal environment for the implementation of Yulu’s shared electric vehicle (EV) services. With a thriving consumer class and a burgeoning quick commerce and food delivery sector, Noida presents a strategic market for Yulu’s sustainable hyperlocal delivery solutions, as stated in the company’s press release.

Expanding Opportunities for Gig Workers

Yulu’s entry into Noida is poised to generate employment opportunities for gig economy participants. The company’s inclusive mobility model aims to remove barriers for potential gig workers, particularly women, who may face challenges related to vehicle access and driving licenses.

As Yulu expands its operations in Noida, it is also evaluating the potential to extend its people and goods mobility services to other cities in the state, such as Lucknow, Varanasi, and Agra, leveraging its Yulu Business Partner franchise initiative.
