The company continues to assert its dominance in the EV 2W segment, commanding an impressive market share of 42%. In the past three months alone, Ola Electric has garnered close to 100,000 registrations, with over 30,000 units registered monthly since December. Notably, in December, the company achieved a significant milestone as the first EV 2W manufacturer to surpass 30,000 registrations in a single month.
To further accelerate EV adoption, Ola Electric has unveiled a series of groundbreaking initiatives across products, services, charging networks, and battery warranties. The recent introduction of the S1 X (4kWh) expands Ola Electric’s product lineup to six best-in-class offerings, catering to diverse customer preferences and range requirements.
In a move to alleviate concerns surrounding EV longevity, Ola Electric has introduced the industry’s first 8-year/80,000 km extended battery warranty at no additional cost, effectively doubling the lifespan of vehicles compared to internal combustion engine (ICE) counterparts. Additionally, the company plans to enhance its service network by 50%, reaching 600 centers nationwide by April 2024, providing customers with unparalleled support and convenience.
Moreover, Ola Electric aims to ramp up its fast-charging network to 10,000 points by the next quarter, bolstering charging infrastructure and facilitating seamless EV charging experiences. The introduction of a portable fast charger accessory further enhances accessibility to fast-charging solutions, empowering EV owners with greater flexibility and convenience.
