BMW recently unveiled a facelift for the i4, which is expected to arrive in India by 2025. The key changes in this update include:
- Design updates: A new matte chrome kidney grille with a silver honeycomb pattern, sharper LED lights, and an updated rear diffuser for a sportier look. The overall exterior has been refined to improve aerodynamics and modernize its appearance.
- Interior improvements: The facelifted i4 will come with BMW’s iDrive 8.5 system, which features a curved display, better menu navigation, and a more intuitive interface using QuickSelect. This system simplifies controls and enhances the overall user experience with widgets for real-time features like charging and navigation.
- Performance: The new i4 models come in multiple powertrain options. The eDrive35 delivers 286 PS (power) and 400 Nm (torque), with a range of up to 500 km. The eDrive40 model produces 340 PS and 430 Nm, offering a range of up to 600 km. The high-performance M50 xDrive offers 544 PS and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
