The upcoming MG Windsor EV, set to launch on September 11, has been spotted testing on Mumbai roads. The spy images provide a detailed glimpse into the vehicle’s interior and exterior design, highlighting its advanced features and innovative technologies.
MG Windsor EV Interior and Features
The spy images indicate the presence of a prominent 15. 6-inch vertical touchscreen infotainment system similar to that of the Wuling Cloud EV, on which the Windsor EV is modeled. It comes equipped with the wireless Apple CarPlay and the Android Auto facilities. Other interior features include an auto-dimming rearview mirror and the seats come in black material. The Windsor EV will also come with flush door handles and a charging flap on the front fender like the Tata Curvv EV and Mahindra XUV700.
Exterior Design and Dimensions
The MG Windsor EV will feature automated LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and an electronic tailboard. Measuring 1850 mm in width and 1652 mm in height, the vehicle has a longer wheelbase of 2700 mm, ensuring ample interior space and a comfortable ride.
Powertrain and Battery Options
The Windsor EV is expected to come with a 50.6 kWh battery, providing a range of around 460 km on a single charge. It will feature a single motor positioned on the front axle, delivering 134 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. Additionally, an entry-level model with a 37.9 kWh battery and a range of approximately 350 km is also anticipated.
Advanced Features in the MG Windsor EV
The MG Windsor EV will have advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). It also has a panoramic glass roof, rear air conditioning vents, and a computerized driver’s display. The cockpit will include an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, and a 4-way powered front passenger seat.
