Mahindra Thar Roxx Bookings to Start from October 3
Mahindra will open online bookings for the Thar Roxx on October 3, 2024, at 11 am. The booking amount has been confirmed at Rs 21,000. While Mahindra revealed prices for the Thar Roxx on Independence Day, this will be the first opportunity for customers to officially place their orders online.
Unofficial Bookings Already Open at Dealerships
Many Mahindra dealers have already begun accepting unofficial bookings. This includes all variants and powertrain options of the Thar Roxx. Prices start at Rs 12.99 lakh for the base model and go up to Rs 22.49 lakh for the top-spec versions. The 4×4 variants are priced between Rs 18.79 lakh and Rs 22.49 lakh.
Thar Roxx Variants and Engine Options
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is available in six variants: MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3L, AX5L, and AX7L. Customers opting for the 4×4 versions can choose between the MX5 (manual), AX5L (automatic), and AX7L (manual and automatic options). The Thar Roxx shares its engine lineup with the 3-door Thar and the Scorpio-N, offering both a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. While both engines come with manual and automatic gearbox options, only the diesel variant offers optional 4×4 capabilities.
Test drives for the Thar Roxx began on September 14, 2024. According to dealers, deliveries are expected to begin by Dussehra, on October 12, or by the end of the month.
