Zeekr, a high-end Chinese electric mobility technology brand under Geely, has introduced its ultra-fast charging battery technology. The advancement allows batteries to charge from 10% to 80% state of charge in less than 11 minutes. This technology aims to address the range anxiety often experienced by users of electric vehicles by swiftly replenishing the battery’s charge.
The company attributes this achievement to its in-house e-powertrain research and development team, highlighting the technical prowess and innovation within the company.
Zeekr 007 Set the record
Zeekr has reported a new record in ultra-fast charging speed for its latest electric sedan, the 007. The vehicle is equipped with advanced lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, which outperform the traditional nickel-cobalt-manganese (NMC) battery chemistry. This record was achieved using Zeekr’s high-speed power delivery chargers, the Zeekr V3.
The sedan’s upgraded battery management system ensures rapid and stable charging, even in extreme temperatures. Even in cold weather as low as -10°C, the vehicle can charge from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes, displaying consistent and reliable performance.

Ultra-fast Charging Technology Expanding Charging Facilities
Zeekr has made significant advancements in its charging infrastructure, with over 500 ultra-fast charging stations and more than 2,700 charging points supporting 800V charging deployed across China. They have plans to double this network to 1,000 stations by 2024 and to expand to over 10,000 charging points by 2026.
Furthermore, Zeekr unveiled the urban Navigation Zeekr Pilot (NZP) system at Zeekr Tech Day. This system provides intelligent driving assistance for urban roads and integrates with Kr AI model Eva, the in-car assistant. Eva uses predictive capabilities to offer valuable suggestions, thereby enhancing the driving experience for Zeekr users. The NZP system is scheduled to be available for deployment at the end of August.
