TVS Motor Company has now officially announced the launch date of the Orbiter. Setting it for August 28, 2025, with the event expected to take place in Chennai, TVS’s hometown. Launch bookings will shortly open post-launch through TVS dealerships and the TVS website/app. Deliveries will start in chosen metro cities late September, rolling out phased nationally.
TVS: Pricing and Market Positioning
- The Orbiter comes under the TVS iQube and is likely to be TVS’s cheapest EV so far.
- Estimated ex-showroom price range is ₹95,000 to ₹1 lakh. It aims at cost-conscious riders and new EV buyers.
- It goes against Ola S1 X, base trims of Bajaj Chetak, and Vida VX2 in the mass electric scooter market.

- TVS has avoided premium features. Such as advanced TFT displays, navigation, and connected elements to make it more affordable.
- Rumors are of functional storage space and twin rear shock absorbers for enhanced ride comfort.
