The highly fuel-efficient and dependable Turbotronn 2.0 engine is designed to power Tata trucks ranging from 19 to 42 tonnes, catering to diverse applications across various sectors.
Crafted indigenously, the Turbotronn 2.0 engine is a testament to Tata Motors’ commitment to innovation and performance. Tailored to meet the evolving needs of rapidly expanding e-commerce, logistics, parcel, and courier segments, this versatile engine promises an enhanced driving experience while significantly lowering the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). With rigorous testing spanning over 30 lakh km and 70,000 cumulative hours across challenging terrains and duty cycles, the Turbotronn 2.0 engine assures robust performance and reliability.
Fully compliant with BS6 Phase 2 emission norms, the Turbotronn 2.0 engine is platform-agnostic and compatible with the Signa, Ultra, LPT, and cowl platforms. Backed by a 6-year/6-lakh-km warranty, this turbocharged diesel engine offers multiple states of tune ranging from 180 to 204 PS, delivering a flatter torque curve in the range of 700-850 Nm for optimal drivability. Its extended oil drain and service intervals of 1 lakh km ensure enhanced vehicle uptime, translating into higher revenues for fleet owners.
