In this story, let’s take an in-depth look at all the design & exterior-related details along with the list of all the confirmed features that the Tata Curvv EV is set to come equipped with.
Tata Curvv EV Exterior & Design Details
Tata Curvv brings a new & unique body style to the masses, i.e. the SUV Coupe body style. Looking at its official first-look teaser and its media coverage, we can confirm a lot of its exterior design elements.
Similar to the Tata Nexon EV, the front end of the Curvv gets a full-width connected LED lightbar with integrated sequential turn indicators, a welcome & goodbye animation function, and the charging status indicator function.
The headlamp assembly looks similar to that of the Tata Harrier with the same bi-functional LED projector headlamps and LED fog lamps. The functional side air curtains placed below the fog lamps are also similar to those of Harrier.
Moreover, just like the Tata Punch EV, the new Curvv.EV also gets a closed-off top grille with its charging port placed in the middle, right where the Tata logo is located. Furthermore, its lower air dam gets thin verticle & diagonal slots with a metallic finish, similar to the Nexon EV.
Looking at the side profile, it gets a Coupe-like sloping roofline with the following design elements:
- Flush-type door handles (like Mahindra XUV700) with illuminated request sensors
- Squarish wheel arches
- All-around thick black cladding
- Alloy wheels with aero inserts (likely 18-inch)
- .EV badging on the bottom of the front door
- The rising belt & shoulder lines give it a dynamic look
Additionally, similar to the front, the rear of the new Tata Curvv also gets a full-width connected LED lightbar with sequential turn indicators and a welcome & goodbye animation function. The rear bumper gets a blacked-out treatment with a rear skid plate finished in silver. Because of the extreme slope in the rear, the rear windshield misses out on a wiper and washer. Moreover, the shark fin antenna and the rear spoiler are placed on top of the rear windshield.

With the Curvv we will address a wide variety of needs of the mid SUV customers, providing them with a fresh and delightfully designed product complimented by premium performance.”
ELCTRIK Speaks
Upon its launch, the Tata Curvv EV will become the first mass-market SUV Coupe in India. Moreover, Tata is set to place the Curvv.EV above the Nexon EV in its electric lineup. This makes the Curvv EV a direct rival to the likes of MG ZS EV and BYD Atto 3. Now it remains to be seen whether the customers go with the traditional design of cars in the segment or choose the new SUV Coupe body style of the Tata Curvv EV.
