The former subsidy, CE Info Systems, alleges that Ola Electric infringed on a license agreement made in June 2022. This agreement barred OLA from incorporating the licensed product with other competing products, reverse engineering, and copying the source code.
CE Info Systems has claimed that Ola Electric stored and maintained MapMyIndia’s data and copied the licensed product. As per their legal notice, they copied their API and SDKs to produce Ola Maps which utilize MapMyIndia’s data.
