Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG Debut Date Confirmed
Maruti Suzuki is set to expand its Swift lineup with the introduction of a CNG variant on 12 September. This launch follows speculations surrounding a CNG version after the release of the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift. The new Swift CNG will be available in multiple variants, catering to a wider audience.
Engine and Performance Details
The Swift CNG will be powered by the new Z-Series 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. Paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, the engine will work alongside a 60-litre CNG tank placed in the boot. In this setup, the Swift CNG is expected to produce around 70bhp and 100Nm of peak torque, providing a balanced blend of power and efficiency.
