Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., India’s premier SUV maker. It formally launched its Vision S concept SUV on August 15, 2025. At the company’s Independence Day “Freedom NU” event conducted in Mumbai. The launch was the unveiling of four cutting-edge concepts on Mahindra’s novel modular, multi-energy NU_IQ platform. Vision S, Vision T, Vision SXT, and Vision X. With the Vision S being the first one set to go into production by early 2027.
Vision S: Design and Platform
The Vision S is a sub-4 metre SUV concept that foretells Mahindra’s aggressive future direction for urban adventure vehicles. With design cues inspired by a downsized Scorpio. The Vision S makes a design statement with its vertical, boxy form and angular front fascia with.

The SUV features a 2,665mm wheelbase and has been designed to be versatile for both domestic and export markets.

While Mahindra hasn’t officially announced production powertrain choices. The V-S’s adaptable structure can host petrol, diesel, hybrid, and full EV configurations. Further supported by teaser shots revealing a charging port just under the front snout. Assuring an EV version is under development.
