Kia has officially launched the EV9 electric SUV in India, marking its most expensive offering in the country. Available in the fully loaded GT-Line variant, the Kia EV9 is priced at ₹1.3 crore (ex-showroom). The flagship SUV is being brought in as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and is positioned above the EV6 in Kia’s electric vehicle lineup. The Kia EV9 boasts a bold design with its vertically stacked LED headlamps featuring L-shaped DRLs and a closed-off grille integrated with digital-pattern lighting. At the rear, the SUV sports vertical LED tail lamps, a clean tailgate design, and a dual-tone bumper with a skid plate. Measuring 5,015mm in length, 1,980mm in width, and 1,780mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,100mm, the EV9 stands as a massive and imposing electric SUV.
Inside, the EV9 offers a premium cabin with a dual-screen display, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
